Micalusi

Micalusi is the leading figure in the world of Italian fishing and fine dining.
Its history is linked to the place where he grew up, Terracina, a beautiful coastal town located between Rome and Naples, famous for the quality and quantity of seafood found in the area. Johnny’s first business was to attend to the unloading of boxes of fish from the fishing boats that dock in port every afternoon, and then to undertake the freediving fishing of seafood as a teenager, before deciding to commit himself to the distribution of the fish product, becoming the undisputed King of Terracina Fish Auction.

The turning point came in the early 2000s, with the opening of his first restaurant “Osteria del pesce” in Rome.
In the following years he opened restaurants in Rome, Milan, London, Barcelona, Moscow and Porto Cervo with a new brand named after his mother, “Assunta Madre”.

The consecration as a world-renowned fish restaurateur, stems from the circumstance that Johnny was the first in his business who came up with the idea to embellish his restaurants with a display of fresh fish which is unique both in terms of quantity and quality.

Finally, the most recent story that led him in 2021 to link up with the brand that bears his name and surname, the Micalusi restaurant, has as its only 3 locations the one in Ibiza in San Rafael, the one in Rome and the one born from the partnership with Flavio Briatore in Porto Cervo within the Billionaire.

The Micalusi Restaurant in St Rafael/Ibiza is in its second year of operation and will be open from May 30 to September 30.

All customers of the Restaurant will be able to eat as if they were in the Restaurant in Rome.
